Life lessons - The start

Well, this won't be a one stop post for sure. Life evolves, every second of the hour, and how clearly we understand our changes is an important part of self-learning. The more we align ourselves to our current thought-process, the better we are at peace on a day-to-day basis. For example, at one point, lying right to the face to grow up the career path or to avoid an argument would be one of the easiest flows to manage but a few years down the line, perhaps your brain struggles to do so because you have moved on from that phase - the reasons could be many, either you faced the backlash yourself or you have realized the impact was so temporary or you are no longer satisfied without have a proper discussion to close the topic. In any case, change is so truthfully constant!

When you embrace a change, it is always a risky aspect - will you succeed with this change or you would fail miserably. But going through the change is an essential lesson to comprehend your true self and the extent you can go to be YOU. From corporate life point of view, a typical job-goer goes through repeated Qs or notions every day. The thoughts could be:

1) Somehow, there is no motivation to do the job

2) However, there is a momentary happiness end of the month and which is (in)valid the reason for the drag

3) And, there are bonus happy times when there is some form of success at work

4) But then, we don't want to keep up with it as we don't have the motivation (back to #1)

How long can one tolerate these accumulated non-chalant and non-exciting notes of life? Perhaps until they feel financially secure? Or, probably until a trigerring point where you absolutely realize it is no longer meaningful?

One thing for sure though, it is really YOU, who can make this choice for yourself. You will always find people who suggest to stick to where you are providing 100s of good reasons (good money, stable savings, world market is a crap, language barriers etc.), but what if your heart isn't in it at all? Working with logic alone is for the machines and trust me, we are far from it and that is the differentiating factor in theis so-called AI advented world.

This post is not at all to encourage you to denounce what you have carefully built over the period. But of course, to listen to your heart rather than your brain. Really, life is so short to live in that oscillation for the rest of  your life. And when it is time to take an exit door, even with risks but not being totally foolish, you must do it.

After 15 years of my career, I finally realized the worth of living by my terms and in fact, LIVING! I am more than happy to help you by sharing my experiences - just reach out to me at divyaa.com@gmail.com or through the comments!
